Apologies for the possible confusion — I’m preparing for some bad news IRL and I’m expecting that it’ll dampen my blogging ardour for some time. That being the case, I figured I should work on something I could put up if/when that happens. Fat fingers hit PUBLISH by accident — or, more likely, out of habit. I don’t usually make drafts of my posts first.
For the time being, business continues as usual.

Thanks for the thoughts, Raegn. It’s kind of not-much-change news right now — this in relation to my father needing open-heart surgery (valve replacement) but not really being in any shape, for various reasons, to survive said surgery, more specifically the general anaesthetic required to perform it. Problem is, if he doesn’t get it, he likely won’t survive either.
Right now nothing much is set to happen until the end of the month, where the docs will see if it’s safe to even try the op.
Waiting is difficult and distracting. I’m not much in the blogging mood these days.
